These Terms of Service apply to the promotional content, project proposal process and demo sites published by Puki through the puki.io website. By using our site or contacting us about a project, you accept these terms. For details on how your personal data is processed, see our Privacy Policy and KVKK Notice. In case of any discrepancy, the Turkish version prevails.
1. Service description
Puki is a design and engineering studio that designs and builds websites, web applications and digital products for businesses. [This site is operated by Ege Örcün; "Puki" is used as a trading name.]
Information on puki.io is promotional and does not by itself constitute a proposal or contract. Each project is subject to a separate proposal and/or contract with its own scope and price.
2. Demo and preview sites
- While preparing a proposal or running a project, we may publish a temporary demo/preview site for the relevant client at an address such as <slug>.puki.io.
- Demo sites are for evaluation and feedback only and should not be treated as a final, live product.
- Demo sites are temporary and may be taken down without prior notice once the project is delivered on the client's own domain, or if a proposal is not accepted within a reasonable time or discussions end without an agreement.
- When a demo is taken down, its content and any data collected through it are removed; see our Privacy Policy for details.
- We do not commit to keeping a demo site available for any specific period; unless stated otherwise in a project contract, this is at Puki's discretion.
3. Portfolio use
- Once a project has gone live on the client's own domain (been delivered), Puki may showcase it on its own website, portfolio and promotional materials as a reference, including the name, screenshots and live link of the client's site.
- This use is limited to completed, published projects for reference/promotional purposes; confidential business information belonging to the client (pricing, internal data, its users' data, etc.) is never shared.
- The client may request, in writing (e.g. by email to [email protected]), that their project be removed from the portfolio and promotional materials within a reasonable time.
- Where the project contract states otherwise in writing, the contract governs.
4. Intellectual property
The design, code, text, images and brand of puki.io (including the Puki name and logo) belong to Ege Örcün and are protected under copyright and trademark law. [NOTE: once the business is formally incorporated, ownership will transfer to that legal entity and this section will be updated.]
Unless otherwise agreed in writing in the project contract, intellectual property rights in the code, design and content developed for a delivered project remain with Puki (Ege Örcün). The client is granted a perpetual, non-exclusive licence to use the delivered work for their own business, in consideration of the price paid.
Rights to content supplied by the client (logo, text, images, etc.) remain with the client; the client represents that it is entitled to use that content.
5. Changes
We may update these terms; the current version is always published on this page, and the date at the top will change.
